National ICC Convention 2010: Genting International Convention Centre (GICC): 7-9 October 2010

The National ICC Convention 2010 was organized by Malaysian Productivity Centre (MPC), with the main objective of providing an opportunity for KIK members to share insights and experience that could help in improving their KIK team performances.


There were four main categories in ICC 2010 Convention; the Industrial Sector (49 KIK), Electrical and Electronic Sector (16 KIK), Public Sector (57 KIK) and Service Sector (48 KIK).


Three KIK teams from UiTM competed in the Public Sector category. They were as follows:


a) KIK BELIAN (Plantation Unit and DPIM lecturers - UiTM Sarawak)


b) KIK TERA-VISTA (Information Technology Unit)


c) KIK SPEKTRUM (Library Unit)


All the three KIK teams won the 3 star Gold Award with KIK BERLIAN team emerged as an overall champion in the Public Sector category. They received a challenge trophy and its replica, RM 4,000 cash and certificate of participation.


Therefore, KIK BERLIAN team will be competing in the International Convention on Quality Concepts Circle (ICQCC 2011) in Yokohama, Japan in September 2011.
